We’re recruiting for a Masking & Finishing Operative based in Denham (UB9) — you’ll play a vital role in producing precision aerospace components used in life-saving technology. If you’re hands-on, quality-focused and ready to grow your career, this is the role for you.

Ideal for candidates with finishing, paint prep, surface treatment, or aerospace manufacturing experience.

Key Duties:

You’ll join a specialist finishing team ensuring every component meets world-class standards. Daily tasks include:

• Masking and unmasking components and assemblies for paint spraying
• Abrasive cleaning using shot blasting equipment (grit, glass bead, aluminium oxide)
• Inspecting components to quality standards and carrying out self-inspection where authorised
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and job cards
• Maintaining tools, equipment, and housekeeping standards
• Working safely at all times in line with H&S and COSHH requirements

Essential Experience:

• Manufacturing or engineering background
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Experience with finishing, surface preparation, or similar shop-floor processes
• Good attention to detail 
• Understanding of quality and health & safety procedures
