We are recruiting an experienced Assembly Operative to join a leading aerospace manufacturing company based in Denham. This is an excellent permanent opportunity to work on complex, high-quality assemblies used within a highly regulated engineering environment.
The successful Assembly Operative will work as part of a skilled production team, assembling and inspecting precision components and complex sub-assemblies from engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am–5:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am–12:00pm
- Overtime regularly available

The Role
- Assemble a range of precision components and complex mechanical sub-assemblies
- Work accurately from engineering drawings, technical specifications and manufacturing instructions
- Carry out self-inspection and quality checks throughout the assembly process
- Ensure completed assemblies meet the required quality and safety standards
- Use hand tools, measuring equipment, multimeters and testing equipment where required
- Carefully handle materials, components and finished products
- Monitor the condition of tools and equipment, reporting any items requiring replacement or recalibration
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
- Follow all company Health & Safety procedures
- Work closely with colleagues across production, inspection and engineering departments
What We’re Looking For
- Previous assembly experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Experience assembling complex mechanical components or sub-assemblies
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and practical hand skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience carrying out self-inspection or quality checks
- Ability to work accurately within a highly regulated environment
- Aerospace, defence, automotive or precision engineering experience would be highly advantageous
- Knowledge of multimeters, automated testing equipment or pressure testing equipment would be beneficial
- Previous SAP experience would be advantageous
