Our candidate search process

We know how to find and allocate the right candidates. We use a detailed search process that includes:

  • Running detailed searches on our CRM system
  • Advertising every role on the many job boards we use
  • Advertising roles on Linked-In
  • Using word of mouth referral schemes

Permanent placements

Permanent placements are when we find clients candidates for permanent positions. With permanent placements, we charge a placement (often referred to as “finder’s”) fee.

If, for some reason, the candidates leave before a set time, we offer various rebate terms. One of our consultants will happily discuss with you what we can offer.

Temporary placements

Temporary placements are when we find our clients candidates for short-term work and temporary assignments. With temporary placements, we charge by the hour for the duration of the assignment.

Clients often ask us to find ‘temp-to-perm’ candidates. This involves candidates working for an initial three- to six-month period on a temporary basis. Then, if both parties are happy with the arrangement, the temporary position becomes a permanent place.

Contract placements

Contract placements are effectively the same as temporary placements, but the term is widely recognised and used in the construction industry. These placements often involve self-employed tradespeople who move from contract to contract.
