37 hours per week
Early Friday finish: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM

We are recruiting for an Electrical Service Engineer to join a well-established, international manufacturing company in the rail industry. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and the chance to travel across the UK and overseas.

As an Electrical Service Engineer, you’ll gain exposure to cutting-edge machinery, international projects, and a supportive team environment where your technical expertise is valued and rewarded.

The Role
As an Electrical Service Engineer, you will:

• Service, repair, and modify complex machinery and on-track equipment.
• Commission new or upgraded systems to the highest standards.
• Deliver efficient, professional technical support both on-site and remotely.
• Be part of an on-call rota, providing valuable expertise to clients.
• Travel across the UK and internationally to support projects and customers.

Must Have:

• Experience: Minimum 3 years working with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic systems.
• Technical Skills: Strong background in fault-finding, repairs, and commissioning.
• Qualifications: Recognised apprenticeship (City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent desirable).
• Driving Licence: Full, clean manual UK licence.
• Personal Qualities: Flexible, proactive, and an excellent communicator.

(Experience within the rail sector is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided.)
