Technical Sales Manager

Location: Hayes, Middlesex – hybrid working will be considered
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: Up to £70,0000 per annum, depending on experience
Working hours: 8 hours a day, 08:00-16:30

MTS Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Technical Sales Manager to join an established business delivering street furniture-based engineering and manufacturing solutions. This role can be hybrid, combining working from home with time at the company’s Hayes office. However, you must be within a commutable distance.

You will join the existing team, pricing new projects and driving new sales.

The Role

• Handle incoming sales enquiries.
• Liaise with clients to ascertain their exact requirements.
• Analyse technical drawings and specifications.
• Obtain material pricing from the supply chain.
• Produce cost build-ups and quotations.
• Follow up on quotations.
• Promote Trueform’s design and manufacturing capabilities.
• Collaborate with other business units to pursue opportunities for the benefit of the entire company.
• Conduct all client dealings with professionalism, integrity, and high ethical standards.
• Provide prospect reporting, forecasts, client feedback, and other necessary information for business planning.

Requirements

• Previous experience in sales and estimating, preferably in a street furniture or engineering led product industry.
• Familiarity with manufacturing.
• Familiarity with Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) Sales processes
• Knowledge and understanding of the local authority market and procurement
