CNC Press Brake Operator - Nights

Location: Hayes, Middlesex
Job Type: Permanent
Salary/Rate: £20 per hour + time and a half overtime
Working hours: Monday–Thursday, 6:00pm–4:30am, with Friday available as optional overtime

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Press Brake Operative to join a busy manufacturing environment in Hayes on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate must have previous experience setting and operating Amada HFE and HRB CNC Press Brake machines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set and operate Amada CNC Press Brake machines
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Programme and maintain CNC press brake programmes
• Accurately align and form sheet metal
• Troubleshoot machine issues and maintain equipment
• Complete production targets and output sheets
• Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail
• Keep the working area clean and safe

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience setting and operating Amada HFE and HRB Press Brakes
• Ability to read and fully understand engineering drawings
• Experience working with CNC programmes
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Previous experience within a sheet metal/manufacturing environment
• Good communication skills and a strong team-working attitude
