We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Milling Programmer / Operator / Setter to join a highly respected engineering company based in Abingdon. The Role
As a CNC Milling Programmer / Operator / Setter, you will:

• Program, set and operate CNC milling machines efficiently and safely
• Produce high-precision components to exact specifications
• Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
• Create layout sheets for tooling, setups and repeatable processes
• Carry out self-inspection using measuring equipment
• Complete quality documentation accurately
• Work independently to meet deadlines and high standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement and maintain a safe working environment

Skills & Experience Required

• Ideally 5+ years’ experience with 3, 4 and 5 Axis CNC machines
• Strong knowledge of Heidenhain controls
• Fanuc experience advantageous
• Experience with Doosan, Matsuura or Mazak machines
• Ability to machine to tight tolerances (around 20µm)
• Experience producing larger components up to 2.5m
• Strong work ethic, reliability and a positive attitude
