CNC Operators – Aerospace Manufacturing (3 Positions)

Location: Braintree, CM7
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + Overtime
Working Hours: 

  • 2 x CNC Operators – Morning Shift | 6:00am – 2:00pm, Monday – Friday

  • 1 x CNC Operator – Late Shift | 1:45pm – 11:45pm, Monday – Thursday

Due to continued growth and expansion within our precision aerospace manufacturing operations, we are looking to recruit three CNC Operators to join our established engineering team.

We are ideally seeking candidates with CNC Turning experience, preferably within a precision engineering or aerospace environment. However, we are also open to training motivated candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and a keen interest in high-precision manufacturing.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a quality-driven aerospace supply chain, working with advanced CNC machinery to produce high-specification components to strict aerospace standards and tolerances.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating CNC Turning machines to manufacture precision aerospace components
  • Working to tight tolerances and detailed engineering drawings
  • Performing in-process inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with aerospace standards
  • Monitoring machine performance and ensuring consistent production output
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised machining environment
  • Supporting continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous CNC machining experience preferred (Turning highly desirable)
  • Experience within precision engineering, aerospace, or high-spec manufacturing advantageous
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
  • Commitment to health, safety, and quality standards
  • Reliable team player with a proactive attitude
