Location: Slough Trading Estate
Duration: Ongoing work
Pay Rate: £12.50 – £13.50 per hour PAYE + Holiday pay
Working Hours: 11am to 9pm, Monday to Thursday
Hours Paid: Minimum 38 hours per week

We are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator / Assembly Operatives to join a busy manufacturing environment based on the Slough Trading Estate. This is an ongoing position offering stable hours and long-term prospects.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring production machinery
• Assembling glass components and related products
• Identifying and resolving minor machine faults
• Safely isolating machinery before carrying out basic checks
• Replacing simple components, such as sensors, when required
• Removing and refitting machine panels to inspect issues
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Supporting production targets and quality standards

Requirements

• Previous machine operating or production experience preferred
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
• Comfortable carrying out minor machine checks and fixes
• Good attention to detail and safety awareness
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

This role would suit someone with manufacturing or assembly experience who is comfortable working with machinery and carrying out basic troubleshooting tasks.
