Steel Fitters / Steel Fixers – Heathrow Airport (Airside) – PAYE
£24.00 per hour Days | £30.00 per hour Nights

Important: There is no on-site parking. Candidates must live within a commutable distance via public transport.

We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Steel Fitters / Steel Fixers to join our team on a major long-term project at Heathrow Airport. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a prestigious airside development, offering consistent hours, competitive PAYE rates and holiday pay.

Important: As this is an airside role, all applicants must pass a Criminal Record Check and provide a full 5-year checkable history to obtain an Airside Pass.

Job Details

Location: Heathrow Airport (Airside)

Pay Rates (PAYE):

• £24.00 per hour – Days
• £30.00 per hour – Nights

Hours: 40 per week minimum (paid)
Holiday Pay: Accrued weekly, average at 5,5 hours per week
Overtime: Available depending on site workload

Key Responsibilities

• Installation and fixing of structural steel and secondary steelwork
• Working with beams, frames, brackets, supports, and fabricated sections
• Reading and interpreting construction drawings and plans
• Working safely in a high-security environment and following site regulations
• Coordinating with site supervisors and other trades when required

Requirements

• Valid Blue CSCS Card (Steelwork / Structural discipline preferred)
• Proven experience as a Steel Fitter / Steel Fixer on commercial or infrastructure projects
• Own tools and PPE
• Ability to pass CRC and provide 5-year checkable employment history
• Reliability, professionalism, and strong work ethic
