Press Setter Operator

Recruiting an experience Press Setter for an international packaging company near Slough - SL1  

You must be flexible to rotate across all 3 shifts ranging from 6am–2pm | 2pm–10pm | 10pm–6am

We offer:

• £39000 to £40,950 plus overtime
• Paid overtime (1.5x, Double pay on Sundays)

Are you an experienced Press Setter looking for a full-time permanent position with excellent pay and real career potential? We’re hiring a Press Setter to join a leading manufacturer in Slough producing world-class sealing and venting solutions for global markets.

As a Press Setter, you’ll work in a skilled, safety-first team committed to high standards and precision.

What We’re Looking For:

• Hands-on experience as a Press Setter
• Experience with Bruderer, Invernizzi, or hydraulic presses would be an advantage 
• Knowledge of PUWER and LOLER safety regulations - or similar 
• Strong attention to detail and proactive attitude
• Basic computer literacy

What You’ll Do:

• Set up Bruderer, Invernizzi, or hydraulic presses accurately to spec
• Perform PUWER and LOLER compliance and safety checks
• Conduct first-off inspections and maintain consistent quality
• Load presses and assist with grinding machine operations
• Support with packing, material handling, and basic machine operation
• Log press activity using digital systems
