Salary: £28,000–£30,000, plus benefits 
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:00 (30-minute lunch)

Looking to grow your finance career? We’re recruiting a motivated Finance Assistant to join our supportive and fast-paced team in Colnbrook. This is a great opportunity to build your skills across all areas of finance — from invoices and reconciliations to month-end reporting.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Finance, gaining hands-on experience in accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger work.

Key Responsibilities for the Finance Assistant 

• Process sales and purchase invoices in Sage, ensuring accuracy and correct coding
• Allocate customer and supplier payments
• Reconcile bank accounts and support management accounts preparation
• Assist with month-end reporting and other finance tasks

What we are looking for in a Finance Assistant 

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
• Will be office based 
• Strong attention to detail with good Excel skills
• Stable employment history 
• Previous finance experience (Sage or Microsoft Business Central a plus)
• Flexible, proactive, and able to meet deadlines
• Experience in logistics, freight, or distribution is desirable
