Mechanical Assembly Operative

We are currently looking for Mechanical Assembly Operatives to start with one of our clients in a permanent role based in Chalgrove, Oxfordshire.

What’s on offer:

• Salary: £26,000 - £27,000
• Overtime available
• Location: Chalgrove, OX44

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle the pyro-proofing of pyrotechnic devices
• Assemble and disassemble proof chambers, load and fire cartridges/rocket motors
• Collect and analyze firing data
• Safely operate ovens, freezers, and conditioning chambers
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in SAP

What we’re looking for:

• Basic understanding of engineering drawings
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Experience with Health & Safety policies
• Good standard of education (GCSEs)
