We are working with our Client offering great career opportunities for a driven Streetworks Highways Electrician looking to work in an active and rewarding sector.

 

Responsibilities & Duties

Your main responsibilities and duties will include:

Installation of Street Furniture

• Undertaking electrical connections to new street furniture installations.

• Installing a variety of new electrical equipment.

• Diagnosing and repairing reactive maintenance faults.

Accreditation

• Carrying out duties and responsibilities in accordance with the companies NICEIC accreditation.

• Completing minor works and installation certificates upon completion of electrical installation or alteration.

• Completing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) on street furniture assets.

Operating Machinery

• Operating relevant machinery and tools in a safe manner.

Quality Control and Continuous Improvement

• Ensuring compliance to all electrical standards and procedures.

• Ensuring quality of workmanship and company quality control systems are adhered to.

• Maintaining a high standard and quality of work

 

Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for someone who has the following qualifications and experience:

Required:

• 2+ years’ experience in a similar role.

• 2391-52 Level 3 Award – Electrical Inspection & Testing.

• Requirements for Electrical Installations (18th Edition).

• G39 + 214 Safe Isolation.

• Current valid driving licence.

Preferred:

• ECS Card
